Article : Ryans Locomotive Celebrating the New Mills Carnival

Our home town of New Mills hosts an carnival this week each year, and the 2015 theme was trains to coincide with the 150th Anniversary of New Mills Central station opening.
The New Mills Carnival is an annual celebration of the town featuring a parade starting from Market Street led by New Mills band with street entertainment dotted around town, plus a fairground and lots of market stalls!
Each independent shop enters a best dressed window display, and this year we\’re proud to announce that our \"Recycling Train\" (which made a stop off at Ryans Mica this week!) has won us first prize as marked in the picture.
We hope everyone enjoys the carnival today, if you\’re in the area why not stop by and watch it, and visit us to see our award winning window!
